Your path to confidence

You can't learn to swim by reading a book.

At some point, you have to jump into the water and start moving your arms and legs.

It's the same with financial modelling.

It's an active skill.

You have to do it to learn it.

Practice is the only way you're going to improve.

I have written this book to accompany my free Essential Financial Modelling online course. At the time of writing, more than 22,000 people have taken this course.

I've written the book to reinforce and augment the online material. Some people prefer to read than watch videos. Some people like both.

Read about it. Watch it.

But most importantly, do it.

When we come on to the case study section, I have structured the content so that you can model each part yourself, and then look at my solution. This will allow you to properly practice the skills.

Next we’re going to take a look at the process of learning so that when you hit the dip, you know what to expect and you don’t give up.
